By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

a. Personal Information

When you interact with the App, we may collect:

• Name or nickname
• Email address (if provided)
• Profile information or preferences
• Responses to onboarding or quiz questions

b. Face Data

If you upload or take a photo of your face within the App, we collect and process this image to generate insights, recommendations, or progress visualizations.

Specifically:

• Your photo may be securely transmitted to a third-party AI service provider (OpenAI) for image analysis and processing.
• OpenAI acts as our data processor under contractual terms that restrict its use of your data solely for processing requests on our behalf.
• We do not perform biometric identification or facial recognition.
• The App does not use facial data to identify, verify, or authenticate users.

Processed data and images may be stored temporarily on secure servers to support AI generation features. We retain only what’s necessary to provide the App’s functionality (e.g., progress history).

c. Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect:

• Device information (type, OS, model)
• Usage data (screen visits, feature usage)
• Crash logs and diagnostics
• IP address and general location data (if permitted)

d. Payment Information

Payments are processed via third-party providers such as Apple or Google. We do not store your full payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Personalize your experience and provide visual progress tracking
• Generate AI-based skincare insights or recommendations using OpenAI’s API
• Improve app functionality and user experience
• Communicate updates or customer support responses
• Analyze aggregated usage and trends

Face data is never used for advertising, biometric identification, or model training.

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share limited information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the App (e.g., analytics, hosting, AI processing)
• Third-party AI vendors (OpenAI) to process user images securely and return results
• Payment processors (e.g., Apple, Google)
• Legal authorities if required by law

All third-party vendors, including OpenAI, are contractually bound to handle data securely and delete it after processing.

We do not sell or rent personal or face data under any circumstances.

4. Data Retention

• Face data and related results may be retained on secure servers as part of your user profile or app history.
• We retain this data until the user deletes their account or requests data deletion.
• Face images and outputs are deleted upon user request or account termination.
• OpenAI may retain data briefly (per their privacy policy) to ensure service integrity but is contractually prohibited from using it for model training or unrelated purposes.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for data transmission and secure storage measures for face data. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and login credentials.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children without verified parental consent. If such data is found, it will be deleted promptly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal data
• Withdraw consent
• Request details about how your data is processed
• Request deletion of face data and related AI outputs
